Hope the following is self-explanatory. I’m not sure who Eric Gxxxxx is, but assume he is one of your friends. Thought you should know that he thinks you have a cougar cousin. See below. Love to you both, Shannon

Eric,

In case you’re curious, I believe you are a friend of either Dana or Tiana xxxxx? If yes, we are related by marriage and I love and adore them both.

In any event, I was looking at my Facebook account on our new iPad and either my young son or younger daughter hit Send Friend Request when the People You May Know box appeared on my screen. Before I knew it, I had received a message advising me that friend request had been sent. I wasn’t quite sure the proper etiquette in that circumstance. Was I to recall the request, send you a note explaining why a cousin to one of your college friends wanted to be friends or ignore the problem all together?

I chose the latter and now you’ve been gracious enough to accept my friend invitation on Facebook.

Please know that my feelings will not be hurt in the least if you unfriend me. And for my own piece of mind, also know that I do not troll Facebook pages of our younger relatives to friend their male friends.

I am also sending this e-mail to Tiana and Dana, so that they can laugh with (or at) me.

Best regards,

iPad Novice
