To the person who may have taken my wallet last night (or perhaps confused my wallet for their own) at the Little Italy Festival in New York on Mott Street at the Entrance to the Bouncy Castle: Hey, we’re not really New Yorkers until our wallet gets taken, right? Live and let live. There was almost $500 in the wallet; there was an expired license; my credit cards…an inconvenience, but as we said to our children last night, sometimes others need things more than we do. There are no hard feelings.

However, there was something in the zippered pouch of the wallet that is important to me. It holds more sentimental value than it does monetary value. It originally belonged to my husband’s grandmother who was from Calabria, Italy. I’d like it back. I am offering a reward – no questions asked. It is the only thing I’m looking for from the wallet.
