When porn went mainstream, it grabbed all women – young and old, married or not. No longer were older women to be respected as sages of wisdom in our society and no longer were young girls to be protected and nurtured through society. Rush Limbaugh has called Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown law student who was originally to testify before a Congressional committee led by California Republican Darrell Issa, on a requirement that contraceptives be covered under insurance plans, a ‘slut’ because she bravely and publicly was to testify of her personal experience and that of a friend that insurance coverage of contraceptives was a medical necessity for many women.
