The Smallest Details. Happy Mother’s Day.

Our philosophy at BohoMamma is that everything we do in life – the dinners we eat; the flowers we set on our bedside table; the prayers we say to one another as we look across the table; the time we take for ourselves or give to others – hold meaning. Everything. There are some Buddhist tendencies to this philosophy, which essentially asks that we find purpose and meaning in all aspects of our lives and that we remain present in the moment. Strange way to open a story about the little things we hope will find their way into your Mother’s Day, but that is the point. Even the little images or concepts that we utilize in our day-to-day lives, hold purpose. These items remind us that we are important. We often find meaning in the smallest details. Little offerings of whimsy to ourselves or others that we matter. Our hopes for you all this Mother’s Day…be kind to yourselves and be gentle; focus on the bigger things, while keeping attention on the small; reward yourselves for being grand and yet know how little we are (therefore making the bigger point of how grand and large life is).

Here is wishing each of our BohoMamma readers a fragrant and light filled day for Mother’s Day.

Nourish yourself.

Reward yourself.

Take time for nature.

Write...as if no one will read.

And read, as if you will never be able to write.

They taught us in ballet to find our spot. If you're a mom, it shouldn't be as hard.

Know your truth.

And know your value...

And make magic! Happy Mother's Day from BohoMamma.
